Joachim Herting has been working as an independent coach in business economics and administration for more than 25 years. In addition, he has worked as a technical writer. His core competence lies in the transfer of knowledge in accounting and financial controlling for "non-financial" managers and professionals.

Focus

Most of Joachim's most important clients are executives, team leaders and technical professionals. In addition to coaching, Joachim has long been an educator in both higher and professional education.

Professional Background

Joachim has specialized on business administration from the very beginning of his consulting activity. He has placed great emphasis on his on-going training in topics such as costing, controlling and entrepreneurship (the latter in the US). Train-the-Trainer workshops led to his licensing as a business game leader for the corporate simulation games created by the BTI Business Training International.

Education

The roots of his successful self-employment were business studies in Germany and France. He holds master degrees from the University of Cologne and Paris-Sorbonne. He started his career as a consultant in aviation supply industries. He gained extensive professional experience through long-term, company-specific training contracts.

Joachim's clients range from industrial to publishing companies, often with an international focus. In addition, he works for service companies. He also regularly teaches at institutions for professional development and at universities.
